Roommates’ job
So, my roommate has been working at Caribou Coffee now for quite a while, and although she has met lots of nice people working there, it’s not exactly her dream job. She has been talking for a long time about wanting to work somewhere where she is really helping people. Well, I’m happy to say that she recently got a job working for the State of Ohio MRDD working with mentally handicapped children and adults. She will be helping them as they take them on group outings and I am very excited for her, considering I know that she will find much more emotional satisfaction working there!
Childhood Christmas
With the coming of the Christmas season quickly upon us, I have been deciding what to put on my “adult version Christmas list.” As a kid I remember wanting all sorts of super hero stuff like action figures, superman twin bedding, comic books, and any other superman stuff I could get my hands on. My sister on the other hand wanted all sorts of girly Winnie the Pooh stuff, and I remember her being far too excited about Piglet sheets. ha! I think if I was a kid this year I would ask for pirate stuff out the wazoo. But, anyways, what I really want is a motorized scooter.
