Curious George: Same Monkey, New Generation.
Well, we are just about one month away from the new school season. Curious George was a big blockbuster hit earlier this year and I would’nt be surprised if that mischeivous monkey’s face shows up on a few lockers or bookbags. If you are interested in grabbing some Curious George stuff for the kids, I would highly recommend these Curious George Clothes and the Curious George Stickers. It is amazing to me how all this stuff comes around again. I remember reading Curious George when I was a youngster. Now it is everywhere all over again. I do have to admit that the movie was highly entertaining, especially for those adults that grew up on George. It was especially fun to hear the voice of Will Ferrell, Drew Barrymore and David Cross, all in my opinion highly respected actors and actresses. So, if your kids loved the movie just as much a you did growing up and are looking to make a statement this shcool year make sure you check out this great site…
Atlanta Braves beat out the Cardinals 6-3!
This years’ fourth of July brought an end to the Atlanta Braves 7 game losing streak. It was quite a rewarding holiday if you are a Braves fan. Interesting News: The Cardinals have not lost on July 4 since 1999. The last time the Cardinals had such a long road losing streak, they ended an eight-game skid with a win on July 4, 2001. Juan Encarnacion proved to be the Braves’ saving grace as he hit a 2-run homer to secure the 6-3 lead. Juan Encarnacion had season-long seven-game hitting streak from 7/23-30, batting .480 (12-for-25) with two home runs and eight RBI…had three six-game hit streaks: 4/5-10 (.308, 7-for-23, 2 HR, 8 RBI), 6/2-8 (.409, 9-for-22, HR, 3 RBI) and 9/4-9 (.308, 8-for-26, 2 RBI) a recorded season-high four hits and had three RBI on 7/2 at NYM. I am so excited about this upcoming season that I am rushing out to get a new Juan Encarnacion Atlanta Braves jerseys and Altanta Braves hats. What a great way to spend an all-american past-time on and all-american Holiday. Happy Fourth of July.
